I've been thinking about a steampunk build but I wouldn't polish everything, leave the copper/brass distressed for aging effect then clear coat it if you wish.

It is very beautiful but so much pipes and the CPU is air cooled. I think a custom loop would have integrated very well
@GabrieLight Жыл бұрын
But custom loop isn't 100% safe! Right?!
@sedatmehmed4371 Жыл бұрын
@@GabrieLight Well yes, but if you have the skills to pull of this case probably you can execute a custom loop well. And of course you will do dry test before putting all your precious hardware inside
@GabrieLight Жыл бұрын

Awesome! I want to do something similar. But mix in some Walnut for panels, also have it a custom loop and the copper tubing be both a “frame” and the tubing for the loop!

I had a similar idea a while back. Nice to see something very close to. Looks great. 👍

Great job! You can add some numitron tubes on the case.

But how much heat this lamp will produce?! And also with such fixed pipes it will be hard to maintain the mobo! Right?!
@nicolassukhu5262 жыл бұрын
I love this idea and I actually started my own recently with a more rustic look and water cooling. Did you use pvc pipes painted for the pipes?
@DesignSomething2 жыл бұрын
This is copper pipes. But for water cooling is better to use pvc pipes. Thanks!

For my build I used M2 drive. The PSU in on the bottom / lower section

Good Morning! I'm Brazilian and I loved this project and I really wanted to replicate it! Do you have the project, or the measurements?
@DesignSomething3 жыл бұрын
Hi. I created the modding in 3ds max. I have all the measurements in this file. You need 3ds max 2020 (or later) to open it. You can download the file from here drive.google.com/file/d/1WE8HfVpw5U0fp9AGgdIOmV1qGaMkEmVh/view?usp=sharing

I didn't had a 3d printer at that time.

Could have used the pipes to route the cables if you didn't.

I love this so much!! how much did it cost to make? also, do you do commission??
@DesignSomething3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It was relatively cheap to build (around $400) because it's not a powerful computer. The pipes, aluminum sheet and electrical parts are from a local hardware store. Yes I do commissions. What kind of commission you have in mind? Also I love your watercolors!
