I personally love all your skincare, hair care and makeup content because I can relate to you more than a 20 year old influencer. Some of the diy stuff also. But mostly it’s just your personality that I like. I enjoy when you bake, redo a room or whatever. So I really have no idea why people aren’t subscribing. I hate TikTok and I could just not get into it. I’m on you tube, Facebook, instagram and X. I’m not interested in any more. But that is prob just of me being of a certain age demographic (46).

I love your content, Sheri! I've watched for years now, and your videos have truly gotten me through some tough times. I lost my mother in 2021. She used to watch your videos, too. You brought her such comedic relief when she was going through so much. I appreciate how genuine and real that you are. What you see is what you get, and that is priceless. I understand that youtube is not bringing in the money, I get it. And yes, you have had to kick out so much money for all of the products that you've tried and reviewed for all of us, which, again, is priceless and we thank you so much!! You and editor John rock, what a fantastic team the two of you make!! As far as TikTok, it's such garbage, and I don't see that being a thing forever. There might be some okay stuff on there, but such crap too. You mentioned that you are still having fun and I think that's the most important aspect. None of us would ever want to see you leave youtube as your content is amazing. And yes, I would give you a thumbs up on TikTok if I were on TikTok. KZbin for me is just more convenient. I do understand if you record less, but please just do not stop making videos. Even if it's just for fun, more skin care, movie reviews,(they were great!), basically things you already own, so you aren't spending as much. I know it goes deeper than that and that you and editor John need to make money. It's not easy. I don't think it has anything to do with your lighting, sound, or backdrops. It's just shitty algorithms. You certainly deserve the best! Most of the channels that make it big aren't even good, and I do not get what pushes their popularity.🤷‍♀️. In Angie’s case it’s not her or YT (in fact YT used her in an ad for YT). I think the beauty genre is dying due to others being unauthentic. The algorithm is going to give what the people want. It’s a shame this channel isn’t more popular. I love the realness of it.

Angie from Hot and Flashy recently said she thought KZbin wasn’t showing her subscribers her videos even though they had notifications turned on and that KZbin showed shorts on the main screen and she encouraged her viewers to hit subsections off to the left side to increase seeing. I’ve been watching you for I think 3 years, I like your personality and your honesty. I don’t care for fancy lighting or special backgrounds, the fact that you film directly in different areas of tour house makes me feel like I’m welcomed into your world. I don’t do TicTok, but you should ‘secure’ your social name, by creating an account, just in case you ever decide to post. Just an idea, what if you respond to comments 1 hr after posting a video? That will engage you with the audience that wants to “talk to you” in the comments. Sheri, I love your channel. You have saved me so much money on skin care products that don't live up to the hype. I've loved seeing how your skin care has improved the quality of your skin. Here's my unasked for 2 cents. I agree that cutting a day would give you more time to do other things that you value and still keep you here making cool videos for us. I think that more of your videos need to be about 20-25 minutes in length. Please encourage people to subscribe about twice in each video, people really do need that reminder. Make it a game, offer to do something viewers want when you reach X number. You might also see what KZbin challenges are happening, for example I discovered a lot of my current content by watching one video on the "Walkaway dress sewing challenge" and then KZbin fed me many other "challengers" and that's how I found many of my favorites. I found you when I looked for reviews on the Cindy Crawford Meaningful Beauty products, and Sheri, you saved me from spending that money. I will forever be grateful.

I love all your videos Sheri ✨. I have seen many KZbinrs this year are struggling some who were monetized and their channel being their only source of income have gotten demonetized and trying to figure out why exactly. Apparently KZbin doesn’t explain the exact reason. My son has had his KZbin channel for 8 years now and has only 1100 subscribers although his is more of a certain type of viewer. I don’t have a TikTok and will never sign up to it. I’ve heard people who do have TikTok’s say the payout is way different and way less than KZbin. I guess it would be a personal choice although I won’t convert I’ll just stay over here and watch from KZbin. I love your content and your personality and truly wish those watching would subscribe to help your channel. I appreciate all you do and the time you and editor John take to make your channel amazing. If making 2 videos per week helps is a try that also because I don’t want to see you leave KZbin. I look forward to your videos every week with love and hugs I appreciate you, editor John and guests. Also you’ve tried products that I was going to try and let me say you saved me a ton of money because I feel you are honest in your reviews of the products over all and we are close to the same age. But by the time I get home each week night it's already 6pm. I have only a few hours to cook, feed the cats, do my skin care routine and then it's bedtime. To be able to answer all comments in a timely manner, I know for sure I would have to put out less videos.

My feedback: I think your logic is sound, cutting back to see if changes happen is a good plan. Personally, I'm not a fan of shorts and I would never subscribe to TikTok. I think you need to have some of your life back and not count on KZbin so much to support you as such, unless it does happen to take a turn upward. I think your channel is fabulous. My personal opinion is youtube will keep growing, people are turning off the TV, I haven't had a big tv in my lounge room for 4 years, I have a small tv in my kitchen for news and anything I really want to watch but mostly it's off. People want to watch when time is good for them, youtube is a great option and cheap if people are broke which they are atm. Covid is in the last 5 years and people were home watching tv, youtube and online shopping, there was a huge surge in these things. I think you need to just keep plugging along in the hope when you want to retire you've build a nice earner to help your bank balance and who knows you might drop a viral and hit the big time. 😊 Concentrate on views and not subscribers, I am subscribed to channels I haven't watched in 5 years.

What is the target age for viewers on TikTok? I’m 44 and don’t have TikTok and no plans to download it. What is the average age of your viewers? So, do you not earn any money from people who watch your video, but are not subscribed to your channel? I didn’t know that! I have one video idea, only because I’ve been trying to do this job in my house and can’t do it! Can you teach us how to hang wardrobe doors straight? With those stupid in and out and up and down type hinges. I have 6 wardrobe doors and they’re all different heights. I know you said before your highest views are the skin care Saturdays, personally I do watch them but am not really interested in them. For me, I’m looking for face creams with active ingredients, that may stand any chance of working, or even treatments that may work. I love the DIY and woodwork aspect of the channel.

I've been trying to watch, comment and like more over the last year. Maybe edit the videos yourself & do one less video since you're not doing pole, use the extra time for editing. Personally, I don't notice when people do fancy editing. My fav youtuber is Peter Monn and he does NO editing. lol. I'm more concerned about the content than the editing. I don't have tic tock

I have never had a channel, so I could be all wrong, but from what I have heard from other channels, I wonder if the problem is that you have two or three DIFFERENT types of content. And as a result, the algorithm doesn't know whether to recommend you to watchers of beauty channels, or DIY channels, or life/blog channels. @jefftackett282 - Not sure if you have had a chance to look...but right now, out of my top 5 videos over the last 28 days...Skincare videos are in 3 of the 5 spots. SkinCare videos have always been my most popular videos and are pretty much the reason why the channel is where it is today. I will never get rid of SkinCare videos.

I love you, but I hate TikTok. Don't go there. I think your target audience is age 40 and up, and KZbin is mostly where us "older folks " hang out, while TikTok is for the younger crowd like teenagers, and maybe into their 30's crowd. They all have plump baby faces, and your channel would tank there, I think. I enjoy skin care Saturdays, but to be honest, I usually don't watch any craft or garden videos. I'm just too busy, tired, creatively declined, patience averse, and lazy to engage in that stuff. If I want something, I just buy it. What I am DYING to see is a chemical peel, or maybe a Botox or a filler video. If it's too costly, consider explaining how much $ you need to get it, and describe how to donate to that cause by hitting the Thanks button! I'm totally here for it, if you're willing to give it a try! New lighting, mood music and all that won't impress me. I like your bathroom mirror just fine! 😉

@@nancyrukavena6992 Not true at all. TikTok is where most of my clients have come from. I’m 50 years old. Most of my followers are men and women around my age. I have 20k plus followers because I’m consistent with my content. Many older women do skin care vids on their TikTok pages. Where are you getting this info from?

@jefftackett282 - I love DIYs...but my SkinCare videos are the videos that receive the highest views more often than not. Getting rid of SkinCare videos would not be a smart thing for me to do right now.
