For Martyn, that is literally the case. In the watcher lore (made by Grian but brought to the life series by Martyn), Grian is a watcher and made the life series for either entertainment or to feast on their souls (I don't remember which one).

I gotta admire how amazing Impulse's editing and especially the fight scenes are at times, the choreography in ESPECIALLY the entire *24:39**-**25:16* part was absolutely *MENTAL!* Those pov switches between 3rd person/cinematic mode without UI, the perspective of Impulse himself or following other players' actions/movements, the insane camera rotations and angles, constant cuts and switches to show off different parts of the fights and especially the pacing of the fight itself - the way it transitions from a standard fair duel into an ambush, then a chase scene and then a successful retaliation effort - were absolutely phenomenal and insanely well-executed! The music went with it all exceptionally well as well. Great job, I'm honestly disappointed in myself that I didn't watch Impulse's point of view of this series from the get-go!

So much dramatc irony in this episode, and this whole series in general! I love it: Bdubs killed you in third life, you killed him in limited life, now your even. In your final minutes you were betrayed, again. Of course, Jimmy continued his curse. In last life, the final four were pearl, ren, scott and martyn, and they ended it on a fair fight, scott won; but martyn wasnt letting history repeat, and so he took fate in his own hands and destroyed his only ally out of fear of the past. Third life ended on a fist fight, grian vs scar. Martyn knew that too, and knew his fate was sealed if he honored the duel. And theres even more. :) thank you Impulse for being apart of it.

Because Impulse had hope he'd be given a chance and Martyn just took it all away. Again, I agree this makes Season 4 unique, but in my view this was not the way it should have ended. Was a bit overdone with the wonky camera during some of the fights, and the ending was really confusingly edited. Goes from 3 hours + Pearl to 8 minutes no pearl....then back to 1:30 for no reason. Really unclear what was even happening. Fancy editing doesn't always mean good editing.

Hear me out, next Life season could be called Bountyful Life, everyone has a ton of lives, but at the start of every session one person gets a bounty placed on them, and when they're killed not only do they lose 2 lives, but whoever killed them gets an extra life

I have a similar idea. My idea is that each player starts with 3 lives but that 3rd life is a red life. Here is a simple way to display the system (1-3)=Red (4-6)=Yellow (7 onwards)=Green. Every time a player dies the player that killed the other player has a random chance of getting a new life Ex. Let’s say that Scar is on two lives and he is aligned to Pearl and she has eight lives and Scar kills her to get a life

Concept for next season: Multiple Life You're sharing an amount of lives with a group of 3 or 4 people (lives, not hearts like in double life) This makes forced allies, which is funny because some people exally don't want to be allies with each other. Other than that it makes people more loyal to their teammates so the chance of betrayal is very small.

Objectively speaking...I love how team ties still manage to reach the final fight despite being quite aggressive all the time...Scott and Martyn are way too passive throughout the series

An idea for the next one: Everyone should be hearing the last second of the mic of the one being taken out of the serie ! Hearing the last "Aaaarrrghhh" "Noooo" or just a last funny pun would be so great !

The editing on these just keeps getting better and better. The drama, the recaps/flashbacks, the camerawork! And that ending! A literal backstab on Scott by Martyn, and then the finish! If you'd managed to get your armor back on that may have gone differently, but as it was it was a hell of a moment.
