I remember hearing of co-workers staying past 7 pm or going into the school on the weekends. Then, I realized-what are they doing? I mean- not judging-but not for me. Grades, lesson plans, and such can be done at home on the computer. The time at school is for things like making copies. This helped tremendously.

Yes, I agree! I also had someone tell me "It'll be there tomorrow" and that helped to not feel like I had to finish something that day.

Well Rachel, Have you ever thought about making you a sign that says "Sorry, I'm not available right now" to hang on the little peak window on the door of your classroom for when you have that personal time in your classroom to get things done that are weighing on you without being disrupted? #Justathought I hope that you had an awesome Valentine's Day. - Dwight
