John and stuart both had jobs in the show which gave so much info usually quite late in the program and usually werr trying to steal the show from each other. In alot of cases they supplied 90% of the programs info putting the site layout into context and showed how far timeteam helped advance archeology. Im not surprised that info is still regarded as an important record. Im glad johns wanting to help out with the new project and hope you can start work soon.

Of course John’s going to say watch it for the geophysics. Stewart would like to say to watch the program for the landscape. And if you asked Phil, he would probably say to watch it for the flint even if there wasn’t any flint. He would say that because even when there’s no flint he’s always looking for flint to play with.

Love these commentaries, but you go into detail that only really makes sense if the viewer has seen the programme and then stop as you think its a 'spoiler'. I think you should accept that your viewers have seen the programme and use the commentaries to add thoughts and extra details.

john had the great advantage, in that what he saw as an anomoly. would be dug the same day so he could see what was really there. after a few years, john had a great library of responses to different detection methods and could have a higher confidence in what it really was...
