I really like the idea of not having to connect to plumbing to use the water/ice dispenser. The water in my city is extremely hard, so it takes a toll on appliances (even using a water softener). The Samsung setup would allow me to use filtered water in the reservoir, eliminating most of the hard minerals.

We bought a Samsung fridge a few years back. The ice machine was so bad they replaced the whole unit with the one that has a tablet like smart display inside. Still horrible ice maker, nothing but issues, leaks, at free it wasn’t worth it. I will never buy another Samsung appliance.

Actually some of their refrigerators come with a touch screen and WiFi. Samsung has an eco system within their TV, Laptops, TWS, Tablets and Phones. I think you can connect your smart refrigerators too (the ones that come with WiFi and stuff)
