The whole point of her character is just to be their for Shulk - there's really not a whole lot more to her. Melia on the other hand has her feelings for Shulk in addition to her sense of duty to her people, the tragedy of her family, the imposter syndrome fears of inadequacy, and all of those emotions behind her best attempt at a calm and collected veneer. Plus she's got one of the most unique combat styles of the whole party. You're right about Mumkhar of course, but I'm not sure that'd be a fair comparison for most of the characters :D Mumkhar oozes personality

She had shown maturity in the vanilla game by overcoming all of the woes that plagued her, and despite the heartbreaking romance plot ( or lack thereof ) she's really come into her own as an empress leading her people to the future. I'm so very proud of her, and I'm glad that she was able to funnel her big heart into her duties as an empress, a friend, and of course, a sister.

To the people learning how to play this for fun or covers: - The song sounds like it starts in the key F. - Breakdown at 2:10 transitions the key from F to E♭. - 2:30 this is E♭ now. - 3:00 climbs to E♮. - Beginning to jam towards the F. - 3:55 Back to F for the loop. Note: I only know the key because I need to know it for violin tuning. I don't have any sheets for either. I can read sheet music, I can play by ear, I cannot write sheet music. @@blastortoise while yes, you're true, I think the problem lies in the weapon. We DO have a huge amount of Sword fighters, and while there are more fist fighters, they're typcially unique. One slaps, another karate chops, the other one punches, etc. With Swords, it's "haha blade so swoosh". What we really need are spears, hammers, a flail, etc. I'm sure if every fist fighters had Mario's Fair and Ganondorf's Bair, we'd have a different discussion lol. I don't know, I just finished future connected and it seems so simple, short and the narrative is so poor... You never even get to know why shit happens, there are no twists at all... the only interesting character dissappears and you find him in a pathetic sidequest... Torna was amazing, Future connected seems like the prologue of another game.

I don't know its name in English, but in French her weapon is called "Fin du monde", which means "end of the world". Shulk's Monado was responsible for the end of the world Zanza created, so I found that it's really cool that this monado looking staff is called like that.
