Love seeing the bob cat. Sometimes you just gotta bring the big boys in. A fresh start for some spuds!

Hi Vasili will I have to ring around each stockist in my area to see if they stock your planting mix/ and compost?

Who is selling those crates in the Eastern Subs? I could use a couple of them. Nice update mate. Cheers!

Think I found them on Facebook marketplace under 'Brand New Planter Boxes' in Warrandyte.

Will the worms eat the hessian bags?

Over time they will.

Only problem i can see with the new raised beds is they might b a little bit high for my liking. Mainly because they will take so much soil to fill and most garden plants really only require a foot or two of soil to grow in. Happy gardening everyone around the world, green love from Queensland 💚🌲🌏🙏

That’s true for the height of the beds. But you don’t have to fill them to the top. Plus half the bed can be filled with compressed straw etc. that way you only need to add 300mm of composted soil on top. Many ways to tackle a raised bed without blowing the budget.

The bigger the roots the bigger the fruits 😊 make great wicker beds out of them with pond liner

@@vasilisgardenofficial my way of thinking was if the beds were half the height you can have twice the number of beds with the same amount of soil. We are all always learning, I have realised that I need garden beds that are a good size that one watering can is ok per bed. So I have been making my new beds half the size of my older bigger rectangular traditional type gardens. I'm limited by only having a few rainwater tanks.

@@jeffpapalia4463 hey Jeff, how are you going. A different subject but how did you go ? Or is it today ?
@aaronhopkins66972 ай бұрын
@@jeffpapalia4463 I have tried a wicking bed but I much prefer having roots in contact with the earth, rather than in a pot.
