I love the idea of a lone feral developer lurking in the Blizzard HQ, moving from wifi hotspot to hotspot, tapping into the backside of electrical outlets in crawlspaces to recharge their phone and laptop, setting off fire alarms to scamper out in the confusion and raid the kombucha fridge. The board of directors is screaming and wailing, tearing their hair out, gnashing their teeth, and beating their breasts in impotent rage. The year is 2029 and HOTS is in active development. The year is 2077 and HOTS is in active development.

Interestingly, balance updates are probably the easiest things you could automate with ai, and just hire a balance director to make sure nothing insane slips in. Surprised more games aren't doing that.
