Greetings to the craftsman!😉What is the length of the rod-truss rod that you put?And what is the total length of the whole neck?I am planning to build my first guitar.🙂

Your method for the head plate harder than it needs to be. Take two pieces of square ply one atop the other, run the edge over the table saw with the blade tilted at the same angle as your headstock, say 13 degrees. Now you’ve got a jig with a 13 degree edge you can place the head plate in between, secure, and table saw or plane off the edge to meet that angle. Then the work is done. Glue it on and good to go
