I’ve never commented on a video before and have also been a silent viewer. However this video is nearly a decade old now and I remember when it came out and I was introduced to asmr. I listened to this for a year straight to fall asleep and you had the most soothing voice and made me feel calm. Just want to say thank you for the introduction to a fabulous community and I wish the best for you❤️

I had no idea what ASMR was during elementary school, but I knew I loved it. When we had to do our hearing test, they would put us in a quiet room with like 6 other stations where there would be a noise in one ear of our headphones, we were supposed to raise the hand of the sound we heard it come from, and each time, they would whisper, "next one" after each hand. The whispering was SO relaxing I LOVED it! I got to do it each year and one year in 5th grade they canceled it and I missed it so much! Then I found this and I am finally at peace. ahh. did anyone else do this in elementary school? like if you had the same experience.
@julierobins56749 жыл бұрын
I never thought about it until you just said it. YES I loved hearing tests too. The anticipation of the noise forthcoming. I had a nephew who used to roll his hot wheels down my arms and make little sounds and I would literally go into a coma
@baybah809 жыл бұрын
Me too! I went to 5 different elementary schools but every year I would do this with my doctor. I loved it! At one particular school we had the sould test and one of the girls in my class wanted to run her fingers thru my hair. Freaking fantastic feeling.

I have been listening to this video for over a year now, and it still gives me tingles every time just like aurora borealis up and down my spine, scalp, arms and legs. I usually kind of "get used" to some triggers and then it doesn't work after a while. But Lilium's voice is just so soothing and caring that has yet to happen. I really enjoy the first bit, with the coffee and how Lilium seems to genuinely enjoy describing how it affects her. Thank you so much Lilium.

I found this video extremely relaxing. My grandmother would always give me coffee when I was younger, so not that she has passed it is something to remember her by. Also, I haven't really cut my hair in about eight years, but I will get trims and every time I go to a salon, just walking in, being reminded of the scalp massage, makes my body tingle :)

I wonder if this is related to ASMR, which I had never heard of until today: When I was a kid and someone did me a favor, like tie my shoe or talk nicely to me, I felt a little weird feeling in my spine and scalp and kinda got goosebumps too if I remember correctly. Also, I just discovered that I get the same feeling from watching people have massages and the hair grooming. I never really thought about the reason that I got it, but it sounds very similar to ASMR even though sounds don't cause it. How weird. Also, Bob Ross' show triggered it. Listening to him speak made me tingle.

My favorite triggers are your voice, it relaxes me greatly. Also hair brushing video's, the sound of it is so nice. Some sounds work aswell like the napkin in this one or the sounds in your snowlaxation and potpourri video :) Least favorite are tapping sounds, I get uneasy for some reason. I never experienced tingles with ASMR vids like I do occasionally in real life but I do find them very relaxing and they help me with my anxiety and sleeping problems.

@ARUCARDFTEPES8 жыл бұрын
+ExiHyp I think there are either people who just don't experience it, or haven't found the right trigger. I usually watch whisper, softspoken and other mouth sounds, but sometimes tapping or ear covering can be surprisingly effective, even when I don't think I like that as much. But I think when you do feel it, it's unmistakable.

At about 2:45 I notice that your pc's fan starts to go a bit a mental, I'm only posting to help you in case you do end up reading this. It really sounds like the inside of your pc needs a clean, you should look into doing that so that it doesn't break, if you're using a laptop and it's sounding like that then that won't help and it's probably just on it's last legs. I know this could come across as a weird comment but I really am only saying this to help you, I went 5 years with a pc and didn't clean it once and everytime I did more than surf the internet it would make that noise, the reason was that it was so clogged with dust the fans had to work very hard and at insanely high speeds.
