It is really possible to stays active over the day. The idea is that you subconciously get dragged towards the activities that fulfill you but as soon it becomes boring, don't try to fight with yourself. Instead, change over to the next best imaginable thing that could be done easily, even if that means cleaning the house. Remember, you don't have to clean all of your house at once, because as it starts being boring you can change your activities again and again. As long as there is some progress, you will feel the success and that will be for the rest of your life. Cellphones and media are a trap, because swapping over to a different website or video doesn't mean anything. Your still doing the same thing. And your subconcious (what really always wants the very best for you) has no other opportunity than cutting your dopamine. Dopamine is like money and that is your salary for the things your doing. There is an analogy to computers and AI-networks. If you build one at home and try it out, it seems, if you train it too long on a specific item, the network will forget most of what it had learned before. Thats annoying and a phenomenon called overfitting. I guess the mind works similar and boringness is a mechanism of the brain telling you that you are already on the brink of forgetting something else. So by changing your activity you keep your neurons fresh and their activations stay moderate without saturating too much 😎 Writing this didn't cost me anything 😇 but now I have to change over to something else. Bye 😸

The question of time is almost always a question of priorities - every single person only has 24 hours a day to allocate, the difference is in how they choose to allocate those hours, where they'll take away from and where they'll invest more hours. So time is never an issue, but trying to do or learn too many things at once can always leave us a bit disappointed because it's an expectation that rarely can be satisfied. As for energy... it's probably a problem that should be addressed separately since it'll affect many facets of our life. Especially if we're not overworking ourselves, we shouldn't be lacking energy to do things we in theory want to do.

Energy is super tricky. It depends on a lot of aspects, some of which emotional, which makes it hard to "fix". It's not as simple as time for sure. :)

@@PolyglotSecrets True, it's a huge topic in itself. But it's a good distinction to make, we should be aware of whether it's a "time" or "energy" issue we should be fixing.

Well, on pause currently - I got distracted by improving my French and reading books in my fluent languages. 🤷

I've always done the bulk of my language learning in the morning. I can still listen to my target language in the evening but I can often start dozing to sleep. LOL
