Nice version, but had Richards and Jagger given Mick Taylor credit and royalties for this song, he might never have left the band.

And to think Mick and Keith gave no song writing credits to Taylor. What a crime.
@flyingburritobro683 жыл бұрын
Because he didn’t write it. He played the solo. Should Charlie get credit because he created the drum track!? Taylor proved how much he could write when he left the Stones - he could not write and did not when in the Stones. Great player not a writer. You don’t get songwriting credit for shredding a solo.

it's not easy to play a mick taylor solo,i is one of the best 60 and 70 lead guitaristithe stones never had a real lead guitarist since mick left the band ,richard and wood arent good but they arent not a lead guitarist,the best stones years was with mick and brian at the beguinning,

Kudos for trying. Nobody on this video has the chops for this song. Guitar is less than compelling, keyboards are nonexistent and the vocals lack any expressiveness. There is a reason the Stones don’t even try this song live.

I do like that the lead guitar just cuts loose with his own interpretation right from the heart, just as Mick would do. Gets a bit too busy in places but very enjoyable to listen to.
