You have my sympathy and prayers. My son went to the Lord and I called my most Christian Aunt. I pleaded for her to help me. I didn’t even know how to think. She too had lost a son many years ago. She said go to the Lord. I was so mad at her over-simplified advice. I thought it a patronizing platitude. This did not seem strong or deep enough to deal with my pain. But I did go to mr God and Savior. The Holy Spirit moved into my heart and prompted the strength to pray. I talked and prayed and and all of me cried. I knew what anguish was. I still do and always will but I have the faith and trust and strength to push myself closer to God and away from myself. There was no one I could talk to or cry to that could get that very deep into my grief even when they lost a child. God can reach you. There is no ‘event’ of healing. There is power to live and love under Gods vast sky in prayer.

There are times when we are lost and overwhelmed by situations we are in, we may not know how to pray, but remember that the Spirit intercedes for us before the Father. "When I sat by your hospital bed, it was clear to me that you were worthy." I needed this song more than any other. Melanie, my wife, was killed by a gunshot when she was 5 and a half years old. She was reading a Bible story to our baby son at the time. I'm a single dad to two little girls who are 1 and 2 1/2 years old. I'm 26 years old. Even though I don't understand, I know that God is beautiful, trustworthy, and worthy of praise, even though I have been through a lot of pain and loss. When I want to curse or blame God, like Job did, I tell myself to say, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." The words to this song are beautiful, and they tell us to always give thanks to God. I had the chance to meet Rainey Holt Qualley when I was a fellow. Even though I was having trouble with money, he put me in touch with a very important company. I'm thankful to both God and this guy. I'd like everyone to help me say thank you to HER. I talk about her name a lot. I had heard of things called "destiny aids," but I thought it was crazy that God would send me one. Putting one thousand dollars into the situation totally changed it. Please thank her on rhq-portfolio . id on my behalf. I am now very happy to be in charge of a charity that helps kids who are locked up. That was my first thought about how to make money. My heart sinks when I think about how this will affect the kids in so many African countries. The point of this story is to get you to do something. I hope I'll have the strength to get through this. I am so glad I found this. I have been in a spiritual slump lately and while I know God's spirit is present, I am not feeling it right now. I am fasting from TV and social media and just focusing on the Lord right now. I came across this and it is amazing. I have also needed something to soothe me at work as the pressure is great and while I love my christian music, I have wanted something to bring me closer to Him during my stressful times and I am more in tune to Him listening to your music than I am with anything else. Shalom, I too was a Pastor’s daughter. I know what you’re feeling. It was studying the Word, prayer and fasting, surrounding myself with stronger people in the Lord, getting involved and giving back to others that kept me going through the hard times. But mostly it was because I took my eyes and mind off of all those who failed me and my family. Instead I looked to Him who never fails. I changed my attitude. He is my strength and my salvation. I serve Him because of his love for me. Cling to the Word, for it is the anointed Word of God full of promises and hope. If you are faithful and obedient to His Word, try to honor Him in all that you do, He will bless you more than you’ll ever imagine. Remember He loves you. Love Him with all your heart and soul. Memorize scripture for it will sustain you during the hard times. Your body, in your teens, is also going through physical changes that causes your emotions to go crazy. Your hormones are unstable. You’ll out grown this stage. My favorite verse, “Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean NOT unto your own understanding. In ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your ways...” proverbs 3:1-11

I lost both my parent years ago. One day while at church I was so upset and I had this belief that everyone needed to comfort me. It was to a fault. One man came up to me and as we spoke I told him of my parents passing. He said praise God, they are the lucky ones they are in heaven rejoicing. I was so angered and confused by his comment- yet part of me knew he was right. It took a while to process what he said. I still go back to it every now and then and remember they are at peace with the father. What greater peace is there? I thought years later how deep and strong love is. How we don’t want to leave earth, we want to be here with our loved ones even as we know there is no greater love and peace but it be in heaven with our Lord and savior.
