It probably has something to do with the whole theme of the video being about realism in shitty action movies. A shitty action movie would take 20 minutes for 2 seconds to count down, which is why they intentionally made this in real time.

"Overcharging is bad for the longterm health of the battery!!!"
@NathanRiveraMelo7 жыл бұрын
I've heard this before, but then I think I looked into it and found out this was only true for older kinds of rechargeable batteries and not the Li Ion ones we have today. Can anyone confirm?
@vakusdrake32247 жыл бұрын
I mean my laptop uses a lithium ion battery and it has a setting that only keeps it charged 60% to prolong the battery's lifespan.
@MirroredReality7 жыл бұрын
Nathan Rivera-Melo I've heard it multiple ways. Some articles say that today's li-on batteries are smart enough to prevent overcharging once it reaches 100%. Others say that you should charge between 20-80% because charging to 80% uses signifcantly less charge cycles than charging to full every time (every battery has a certain amount of charge cycles before it starts degrading, if I remember correctly.) Others say that keeping it plugged in after it hits 100% is actually heathier for the battery because it gives it a break from being drained and charged constantly. The battery will stop taking in power until it drains to a certain amount, and then it will trickle charge. There's a lot of different battery theories out there, but right now I'm personally sticking to the 20-80% rule. I don't have a particular reason, just using that one for now.
@OgenB7 жыл бұрын
I used to work for Apple. Charging the iPhone to 100% every night is the best way to keep the battery life health in shape. If you only charge it to 80% you're decaying the 20% of battery storage that isn't in use. The best thing for a battery is to be in use, if a battery is unpowered for too long it will result in permanent damage to the battery life, and that can happen even if the battery is unpowered for short periods over many months. I don't know if Androids have a problem with overcharging or something (Apple devices do not overcharge,) but batteries in general should be kept at full charge as much as possible. The idea of letting your battery drop to 0% and then charge to full is also flawed because again, it doesn't help your battery life to go to 0% for lithium ion batteries. But it is better than the keeping your phone at 80%
@MirroredReality7 жыл бұрын
OgenB Interesting. I read somewhere that when a phone is charged up to 100%, it will stop charging, discharge to 99%, and then charge back up to 100%. Having this happen over and over again over multiple charges *supposedly* puts a lot of wear on the battery and reduces its capacity. Do you know if there's any truth to this?

It could be that he wanted to get caught so he wouldn’t have to pay for the businesses he owns and can’t pay for anymore so he can get away from the taxes but he didn’t want to die or kill anyone so he made sure to kidnap the two most capable people to finish the job and even opened the knife in the pocket to make it easier for them to cut the rope with and not have to risk dropping it on the ground so it shows he failed in that and that the sparks that went off was the failsafe so it doesn’t explode failing 😂
