Synthwave (what this is), is inspired by 80s synth music - the “vintage” part. 80s synth music was inspired by the Sci-Fi genre - the “futuristic” part. However, I’m not too sure if I’m correct but I believe it is something along the lines of what I have just said.

I remember being a teen in the 80’s. Just remembering it hurts, the nostalgia hurts the most. I remember driving past the Kremlin and seeing the Soviet flag flying, I remember buying cigarettes out of vending machines and climbing buildings all over Moscow with my friends. In 1990 it all really ended for me, I got in car crash my girlfriend died in my arms a year later are nation was destroyed I had no place, no hope, love on hate.

Ironicly, we live in that future. My country is about to disintegrate, people here cannot afford living, everyone committing suicide because of economical problems and the whole society is depressed. I cling to such songs because this is all I have. Such a dystopia is already happening here, in Turkey. You just don't know about it and don't see it.
