This would be a top 10 song if released in 1987. It should be on the charts now - this is better than 99% of the stuff out there today. Amazing song, thanks!

Unfortunately, this style of music is considered too 80s and old-fashioned these days. Nowadays people/kids want to listen to Drake and that pink haired dreadlocks guy rap gucci gang 20 times. Pathetic. Born at the wrong time.
@Malc180s6 жыл бұрын
This style never really existed in the 80s. The sounds all come from that time, but the style is much closer to trance than it is 80s pop. More Above and Beyond than anything.

The singer sounds great! I just stumbled here. My god I am blasting this while I am speeding on the freeway! The singer sounds like Brian Anthony Howe from Bad Company late eighties early nineties!

This song brings out so many emotions out of me... Im not sure why. Maybe because the lyrics, the melody, the mood brings me back to the old days where you had a crush on someone and both of you know that you were meant to be but missed out on the timing. Thinking back how you could have been together but it went the way it went. One the electronic songs where you can truly relate to and feel for.

god, this song takes me back to a time in my life where I was going through emotional turbulence with a disastrous relationship in 1985. This song takes me right back to that moment, and maybe applies a little healing to old scars........what a beautiful tune......and sad. I don't think i have ever been affected by a song like this one. Well done to timecop1983. It's almost like you were there..... :)

Have to admit, I'm falling into the Retrowave trend that seems to be gaining popularity now. The nostalgia for those 1980's problems of having enough shirts with the sleeves cut off for the guys or Aqua-net for the girls.

It's a nice song; however, I feel like LeBrock (which I love) works a lot better on darker songs such as "Call Me", "Please Don't Cry", "Dangerous Dreams", "Juice", "All Night", etc. than on ballad-like songs like this.
@cim80976 жыл бұрын
His voice fits perfectly for synthwave-genre music.
@StayReal025 жыл бұрын
I think this song (too late) offers some other spectrum of his voice though. Really like the fact that it's very emotional, in some way it brings more depth into the artist so it will not be one dimentional. Music is also art and art can come in any forms and shapes.

Dude, I was born in the 70s, came of age in the 80's, and let me tell you, the has noting but ROCK POWER BALLAD written all over it. Like Guns n Rose's November Rain, Queensryche Silent Lucidity, and LA Guns What Happened to Jane. Sorry to say, but power ballads get the radio play.
