I listen to a ton of these old O&A episode. Like minimum 10 per week. It amazes be how every Patrice episode has me glued to my head phones. I can't believe I just barely knew who he was when he was alive...as Lonnie on The Office. It's terrible when anyone dies too young. You certainly notice it far more when it was someone who could have had such an impact on the world. Not trying to be all meloncholy & deep, but it's true. Sucks.

Daniel 1 It was overrated because it won an Oscar and because every indie hipster gushed about it online and I saw it and it was a run of the mill movie that obviously got rated highly because of the actors and because of the whimsicalness of the 1 scene that they hyped in the trailers that made everyone think it was a superhero movie. So I'm not disappointed it wasn't a superhero movie, I'm disappointed because the best scene in the movie was the superhero scene in the trailers. The rest was usual indie garbage.

I actually remember him being bad in Collateral. There was some scene where a gun was being pointed at him, maybe around when he first meets the Cruise character, and his scared acting was fucking embarrassing. I've seen so many unknown character actors do better than that in similar scenes.

I thought it was good the first few times, but you start to notice how the plot is thin, the writing is cringe in how it tries to be edgy and deep and Gyllenhaal’s character tries super hard to be “wild and crazy” on the brink of insanity.
