This timelapse shows the transformation of the stadium from football venue for the Dutch National team into concert mode for the Toppers shows. Within 3 weeks we hosted 365.000 visitors in 6 events.

I have been enjoying many time lapse videos of many complexes, but most here in North America...baseball, hockey and football stadiums. I noticed at the end of the concert that the crew were replacing the sod of the pitch...not each and every time there is a change over? Wikipedia didn't have an answer that I could find.

They really should take the grass out and take it to the sod farm then bring new in after A week under aluminum plates probably kills it so I'm guessing they have to replace it every time which is why they said they always keep standing orders at TWO sod farms.

It’s a shame that behind the goals they are so far from the field. And those 4 big open gates in the corners at the frist “ring” nowadays the solved allot of ugly problems like new seats. But why not make removable stands behind the goals? And close 3 gates for seats and let one but not on the cameras side?

You're wrong. The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff has a roof which fully encloses and is bigger than the Amsterdam Arena

I assume because they couldn't reuse the grass anyway. If you take out the grass first, you need time, equipment and workforce to do so, then you need a place to store it and after that it cannot be reused you as it was rolled up and compressed for multiple days. In the end, there are no advantages
