While I myself am not a fan of string pinsetters, I do have to say you guys did a great job with the cleanup and installation. It was very professionally done and the end result looks great.

They are downgrading because us mechanics that's have years experience on multiple types of machines get paid too low and would rather do this than pay us.

They probably wanted to reduce maintenance costs. I personally don’t care about maintenance costs, if they take good care of it very well and also if they buy Twister Pins than Wood Pins (that occasionally break and be inconsistent), they’ll save a fortune for new parts.

Nothing’s better than the A2. They definitely went the wrong way. Free fall is better.

String pin does have a change than classic machine. I don't know what you didn't like string pin. She is good.

@@johann3519 Theres a big difference. Traditional runs off of 220 while strings are 110.

Why would you get rid of those perfectly functioning As/A2s in favor of these hunks of shit? As/A2s are WAY better than string pinsetters, string pinsetters tangle so much and they're problematic. If I wanted to replace a pinsetter, I would rather install either a GSX, GS-NXT, or an AMF EDGE Free-Fall pinsetter instead of these shitty string pinsetters.

Honestly, I think they stream pain centers are better and establishments where there is less money. It’s cheaper in effective. The only problem is that the strings can mess up the bowling experience.

Or they can ENHANCE the experience, trying to work the strings into your strategy. It's a slightly different sport, after all.

if you are true to the game learn how to fix the free fall. Strings are not bowling no matter what USBC tries to push. I'm not a mechanic yet over last couple years we've learned how to fix free fall machines in our small town alley on a volunteer basis. Takes effort but that's why most people don't change their own oil... lazy.
