The final movie is so awful, horrible, disgusting and disappointing that I simply ignore and reject the existence of it and pretend it never happened. I cannot accept it as part of the canon and the official end of the story!!! I'd rather call it a crazy, sloppy, illogical and _totally out-of-character_ fanfiction instead of a real and normal ending... In my story Rufus is saved and Jessica is killed by Flynn (but he doesn't have to sacrifice himself!), he and Lucy admit their feelings and love to each other, become a couple, get married, have three daughters (the eldest is Amy, the youngers are identical twins, Lily and Rose) and live happily ever after. ❤

Me too. After grieving the ending it makes sense why he was killed off, he committed quite a few atrocities. Man this character’s life is a rollercoaster!

This scene is awesome, I've watched it a thousand times. I had already lost it at "You were a gentle and responsive lover", but then came all the GIGGLES and "you are the easiest to talk to", the bonding over losses, Flynn trying to lighten up the mood with "we're both geniuses" AND THESE TWO ARE JUST SO CUTE OKAY, I SHIP THEM SO HARD *cries *

yeah, i'm sure the plan was to do more episodes, for sure a Titanic one, but because the network was in a rush to end the show we just got references to Flynn and Lucy's relationship instead of seeing it

They actually didn't screw over Flynn, they went back in time to give him Lucy's book to re-do everything over again. And Lucy and Wyatt named of their daughters Flynn, to me that is grateful ❤😊

i just got to this episode for the first time since it aired and i just...completely forgot this scene wasn't in the original airing. which is insanity because the scene feels very random and weirdly cut without the whole teasing and honesty leading up to it.

Anyone know WHY Rittenhouse killed Flynn's family? I've watched the whole series twice and can't seem to figure it out. It seems pretty important seeing as the reason this whole thing started was for Flynn to eliminate the people who killed his family.

season 2 wyatt might be one of the most annoying people i've ever had the misfortune to see on my screen. how a man goes from selfless and heroic to a possessive jerk, i have no idea. the writers clearly needed to make him less likeable so that Flynn and Lucy would make more sense (which, they already did. wyatt didn't need to become less likeable for Flynn and Lucy to make sense).
