In this video, we explore the small, friendly town of Tewantin, located on the Noosa River. The friendly volunteers at the Visitor Information Hut suggest we walk up Mt Timbeerwah in the Tewantin National Park for the spectacular view...and we're so glad we did! We enjoy walking alongside the bobbing boats on the river and have a delicious lunch at the Marina.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!

Thanks Tania 🤗 we had a great day in Tewantin and thanks to the suggestions from the lovely ladies at The Hut, we did the Mt Timbeerwah walk and had lunch at the Marina. After our drive from Brissy, we were warmly welcomed by them and whilst we were walking around town, we observed what a valuable service/resource The Hut is for locals, tourists and volunteers. We are so impressed with Tewantin’s community spirit! 🤗🤗🤗
