Glad to see my advice was so well-corroborated that every point was taken to heart. This was an especially fun video. I didn't even know it was possible to impale a man on a tree branch, and your reaction to the lightning bolt being used against you was hilarious. Either way, you're past the worst of it now, I think. I believe your skill shall carry you to fulfill the cycle. But I'll still give... A few tips: 1.Shields can do the bow thing, where they imbue in the hand. This lets you imbue a weapon in the other hand without dropping it, as an imbue area is on the shield while doing this. 2. That gauntlet does dampen damage locally, and limbs take less, so if a fireball is absolutely going to hit you, letting it hit your armored arm is significantly better than taking it to the chest. It also might bounce off metal armor like that, so you could, in theory, reflect it. 3. The ending is short and sweet, basically a cut-scene you play and very story related. No big boss beyond the 6th Hekalis (Hector). Don't save it for a separate episode, you'll only be sad. 4. You can play past the ending, by just entering your save again after the credits. 5. There is a secret ending that requires at least one post-game golem from where you are, and a lot of very risky trial-and-error puzzle solving. Might be hard to figure out. Partially because I love these videos but partially because it would just be fun to see how far you could get, I do recommend at least going a bit past the ending to try and get that secret ending. Even better would be to see if you can max out all crystals and skills without dying and ending the run, but that's like...8? 9? more episodes in this format, so I can see why you might wanna not go that far.

Best episode yet imo. Actually felt like you were in danger at times, plus so many brutal kills and intense fights. You can easily tell how much better you've gotten at the controls too. Definitely prefer when you use melee with magic as support, compared to just using magic all over the place

the falchion in my own perma death run was brutally op i got through most of the run with nothing but it i mannaged to get all the way to the last golem and then ended up getting one shot by getting slammed. i was mad about that. but the point is the falchion is absolutely the best weapon in the game at the moment i was doing back to back to back decapitations. and without slow motion. little easter egg if you hold i up to the barron attempting to sell it he strait up tells you he wont buy it from you. another thing i discovered you can use the guard on it to travel along ziplines

the boss feild has the lighting bowl thingys, and next to them are full tribal arrow quivers (12) as well as a tribal bow. imbuing the arrows with the lighting grants them the ability to track onto the bosses crystals.

You can imbrew while holding the shield by holding the spell wheel button and then hold trigger to activate you can also imbrew you right hand weapon by holding it over your shield while your activateing the spell hope this helps your future battles to come lol. Really enjoying this series

I believe the best power is the slow time when an arrow/mage attack comes near you or when you parry some one. It has saved me alot in times that im out numbered.

Quick word of advice, you can imbue stuff while holding a shield, just hold the spell use button and you'll see the ball of your spell show up on the other side of the shield, hold your weapon on it and you can imbue it without dropping the shield! :)

When you have a staff, hold the bottom of the two button on the controller in which has the staff. Lightning for example sends out a slash of lightning following how you swing it. Fire let's you shoot fireballs when the button is pressed. Gravity lets you pick up, swing around and throw objects

Something i just figured out recently, if you grab an axe (a small one preferably -Edit, Not a Hatchet), and imbue it w/ fire, it works great for rock climbing pretty easily. Better than daggers in my opinion

The blocking with the arm does kind of work, its just that melee attacks usually do some blunt damage so you still take some damage, its mainly against arrows that the armour will fully block.

Best way to optimally use the potions, especially when you're not using it in the middle of battle, is to just basically drink drops of it instead of pouring it constantly, there's a healing cooldown where you waste a lot of the potion in when you pour it. Of course this is just to optimize the healing from potions lol

i got a video idea, 1 weapon can only kill 1 person, you can still use the same sword but not the same sword that was used to kill 1 person. for spells, you cant use the same spell power twice (until back home)
