When I took shrooms recently, I realized that my whole human experience was a dream. Being in this body of mine, this temporary body, was HEAVY while I was under the influence of shrooms. I was also feeling sad, because I felt stuck in this body. I wanted to wake up so badly. As if I knew there was something more, beyond this moment, in this body. Then all of a sudden, I saw myself sink back into this dark void as consciousness, and realized that this body of mine, and the thoughts inside my mind created the attachments that make me who ‘this character’ is, in this lifetime. I formed the emotion’s attached to my family, friends, things, work… all earthly attachments. And I realized that nothing really matters except the things we feel for the attachments here on earth. Don’t get me wrong, I love my life. I’m learning to create heaven on earth. But I realized the whole point of existence is to just BE. Be this character, play the part, and enjoy the game! Experience it all, and don’t take things too seriously.

since a couple years ago i started feeling like my dreams are not just dreams. my mom passed away 10 years ago and strangely, i dont feel like i miss her that much, i was a kid so i don't remember much about her. i started noticing i dream about her in really common settings. like her voice coming from another room, her washing the dishes, coming home with groceries... i really mean really common things. so it's kinda natural. i think like my reality feels like a dream too. it all happens very fast, i easily forget things... like a month ago i had a dream where the opposite of what i am manifesting happened. i opened my eyes and realized it didn't happen in my 3d so i had a realization. i felt so much relief and like nothing was really real and i tried a couple days to lucid dream but then i forgot lol the title of this video caught my attention for that reason, i will listen now.

As someone who has never really had a nightmare I really do wonder about them. I've had dreams that have made me feel extremely emotional upon waking. Usually like sadness. Only one time did I ever feel fear(that I can recall) that struck me to my core in a dream and it didn't even feel like it was mine. I felt like I was reliving a horrible memory of someone that used to live in my apartment. I still remember her face and I won't ever forget how scared I felt when I woke up. I mean it felt so real. I think it stuck with me for a few weeks. I wrote down every detail I could remember when I woke up but haven't been able to find it.

My 'nightmares' are more like entertaining horror movies, or horror video games, where i play tag or hide and seek. And goofy in retrospect. So they're not really 'scary' but exciting little adventures. I would say a true nightmare is like you describe, feeling powerful negative sadness, maybe deep fear/dread connected to loss, embarrassment etc. Something you take seriously.

Goddard is like an extreme form of openmindedness. Your mind/consciousness is so abnormally open that reality itself becomes less material and more fluid - similar to being on mushrooms. This kind of openness correlates with high creativity because a lot more novel ideas are floating into your field of consciousness. But your mind is so open that these ideas literally start to morph your material world. A coffee table could start talking to you and giving you novel ideas. The trade-off is that your mind is less buttoned-up, so it literally starts to feel like you're going insane. What ordinary humans consider to be "hallucinations" not really hallucinations (since everything is a hallucination), they are just God's imagination - Infinite Imagination - at work in non-ordinary states of consciousness. How would you react if all the sudden your coffee table started to talk to you? Would you be open to listening, or would you freak out and run to the doctor to put yourself on meds to suppress it? Most people would freak out because they don't have a proper context for it. Under the materialist paradigm the only context is that you're going insane. But if you understand how consciousness works then there's really nothing wrong about it, you just have an extra-open mind. You know what happened when the US military gave LSD to soldiers to make them better killers? The soldiers refused to fight each other because they experienced too much love. You literally have to be very closed-minded to kill people! We take a kid from from Iraq and we throw him to a new planet with an alien civilization that is a hundred thousand years more advanced than humanity with teleportation devices and weird hovering technology and telepathic communication abilities and all sorts of crazy stuff, they figured out how to make their bodies immortal. Right so all this crazy stuff that they figured out from the wildest Science-fiction movies. We plop a kid from Iraq into that for a day and then we bring him back. That's a little bit more what it's like to take a psychedelic. At last they declared to me that I was becoming dangerous and that they should lock me up in a madhouse if I did not hold my tongue. Then such grief took possession of my soul that my heart was wrung, and I felt as though I were dying; and then . . . then I awoke. Appearance without substance. Everything is a hallucination. So this moment right now is a hallucination. It's always been a hallucination. That's what reality is. In psychology hallucination means perception without any input or data. So traditionally if you go to a mental hospital and you're telling them that you're seeing Goddard running around with stripes and polka dots, they'll say you're hallucinating.

We all create “bad” things. They are all blessings in disguise. You either receive lessons or blessings. Also cause and effect. Once you start healing and naturally start to become more calm and more peaceful/at peace (a lot of that comes from acceptance), your life will then start to naturally bring itself back into harmony. It’s a really interesting concept and an amazingly beautiful thing; The Universal Law of Harmony. Based off the rules of nature. Anyways, that’s my perspective on it. This is simply from my own experience. But if you really want to super speed charge ahead, start practicing consciously being grateful every day, for all the good things and ALL the bad things. Be thankful for them all, truly, authentically in your heart (or I believe, it won’t work). Get yourself a giant mason jar, a stack of post it notes and a pen. Write one thing you are grateful for every day and stick it in the jar. For me that led to multiple post it notes every day and consciously remind myself/remember to practice my gratitude. I wished to live in a constant state of appreciation. That would be my meditation. Honestly, in my life, that has been the biggest and most positive change in my entire life. It starts to rewire your brain into always being in a state of thankfulness. That and what Eckhart Tolle said, “If the only prayer you ever say is ‘thank you’ it will be enough.” ❤

And to take it a step further.. the more thankful you start to become seems to go hand in hand with trusting more. Trusting things are always working for you, not against you. If you have faith and patience, especially in times you don’t understand (you just trust), then I believe you are blessed better than what you could have imagined for yourself. @@ww2germanhero Sure, Eastern Orthodoxy is not common in the West. It is growing though. Orthodoxy in my opinion is the most committed to a patristic understanding of Christianity. Catholicism and Protestantism have been distorted over time. Orthodoxy is committed to Catholicity. Which are the common and universal truths that are always true in all times and places. I have been reading about Orthodoxy for ten years and I still feel like I know almost nothing. If you start digging into it you will see what I'm talking about.

Catholicism has a lot of great stuff, but a lot of oddities as well. Traditional Lutheranism is great in practice but has a very flawed theology. @@only-in-california yes I have and Jesus teachings and the teachings of the bible, makes more sense if you're not reading it from a literal perspective. The only thing I do is study,test, experience . In John 10:30 Jesus spoke of people like you . I am you pushed out so yes, I am blasphemous to you, but as in scripture adam was asked Who told you? Who told you what is blasphemous and what is not? What is right and what is wrong? There is an internal god, no doubt but there is no doubt you assign your own meanings to things, everything else is just an opinion. What's true for you I'm your reality doesn't make it true in another's. How did Jesus heal the sick? He didn't change anything outside of him, he changed himself . How did he turn water into wine? Christianity teaches that magic is a sin? But the way it's explained in church is as if it was? It's happened in a very natural way, that wine was brought to him. Whenever he changed himself, to believe that he has recieved as scripture instructs. The world begins to move to bring you your desires, thinking all along it's their own idea.
