They’re away from the mainland, making it harder for zombies to get to them, they have a good source of food and water, assuming they have water filtration systems, and they have materials to make weapons and shelter. Assuming that they’re by themself and are going solo, they should be able to stay there for a good amount of time, if not for the rest of their life.

i had the most wildest dream of a zombie apocalypse Me and my friends and my siblings got to pre-z safe zone and then someof my friend wanted to go out the base to get food in a mall and Cool clothes and new armory at a gun shop or a shop that sells katana's and then head back But After day 2 outside there was alot of zombies so we had no choice but to lock up the mall and sleep and then check if the zombies are gone then we found a car and then i drived it but then after we got back to the Base there was alot of zombies So we just ran em over and then my siblings was there so i got back to the base and we tried to go back home well we didi but we got closed by zombies and we have no choice but to stay quiet and close the curtains and go back to base then the heli is back. it might be a good zombie movie idk but all of them are supposed to be 12-13 and 7-10 years old cause yes its better like that and the main character can run fast has good combat skills and the other main characters my siblings and friends have a skill all of it are Good aim Fast and Good at cooking i guess but not my lil sisiter cause she cant cook

A helicopter would be a very good escape vehicle in case your base gets ambushed but however it would be nearly impossible to stay in a helicopter till the whole thing blows over, you would need a VERY STRONG BASE and a emergency exit to the helicopter, and of course a Rpg and some GOOD WEAPONS, but you would have to fly to the nearest camp or the helicopter would run out a fuel and eventually crash, so you should fly in a Strait line, and carry extra helicopter fuel in a Jerry can, So on a total you would need A Base, helicopter, rations , water, suplies, and a lot more
