I’m a Pacers fan and I remember we played the Nets in the first round if I’m not mistaken we were but we were AFC or seventh seed he said whoever won that series was going to the finals that year it. What a long process after the Garnett, Pierce, and Allen trio won the chip in 2008. There was so many trades and moving parts to get the right pieces for Championship #18 in 2024. The Bostons' organization has been very savvy and very deliberated in finding the right players to win. From Danny Ainge to Brad Stevens, they had the guts and instincts to take a good to great team and make them a championship team. Most teams would not do that, regular season success is good enough for them. Boston Celtics has always been about winning that chip. After a long road, they have the perfect mix of youth, talent, and experience to be competing for that title the next 3-5 years.
