Nash WWF Timeline 1995 is great on its own. it's too bad the upload from last year goes out of sync about halfway through. but I too find the mashups kind of overwhelming because you get in a rhythm on one and then it bounces to the other completely out of context

@@joeyjoejoe1394Kev says Savio cut Scott and Shawns hair on a flight and then “wasn’t around much longer after that”. For the story to work it has to take place before May 1996 since that’s when Scott left the company. Any way you interpret what he’s saying, it still doesn’t really make sense timeline wise.

I think Kevin gets an unfair bad rap for 1995. I know there are some people that like to point to that he wrestled HBK and Brett Hart, so how did he have a bad run? Well, yeah, he wrestled those two guys at the very beginning of his title run. Then he didn’t wrestle Brett again and until he dropped the belt to him almost a year later. Look, I’m not saying guys like Davey boy can’t work but Davey boy can have great matches with certain people. Like usually if you have two power houses going added it’s not going to be a good match. And then the rest of the year until he dropped the belt to bread, was filled out between Mabel and Sid. As far as blaming the ratings on him, come on, it’s not 1967 anymore where whoever the NWA champion is is how we gauge that sort of stuff by. Guys like diesel, Hart, HBK, yokozuna, undertaker and Scott Hall were guys that kept the company above water. Most of the reasons a lot of us didn’t like WWF at the time or the things we didn’t like about it weren’t diesel. I loved Kevin and most of my friends liked him too. He was over. It was all the mid card guys that were given stupid gimmicks. Things like Doink the Clown is what really made that just embarrassing to watch. it had to do with diesel because he was actually over, I’m not saying he was Ricky steamboat as far as a technical level but that’s not why the ratings were down. It’s kind of hard to appeal to adults or teenagers when you’ve got a clown wrestling a plumber and the clown is going over.

@@PhilMiCoochiejust because other older wrestlers were okay with the changes doesn’t mean that Bruno should have been. He was an old school Italian immigrant who believed in traditions and keeping things classy. The business evolved in a way he didn’t like, and that’s fine. He’s not the only guy who’s been outspoken about stuff like that. Look at Bret Hart.
