When I saw TimeTeam for the first time, I was completely amazed. Tony, Mick and Phil and Helen and all the others were on fire for the archeology adventure. Their passion, their enthusiasm was contagious... I loved these characters, each one of them was really unique and special. With Mick's death, the team's magic began to wear off. Little by little the magic and the passion and the enthusiasm evaporated and when I saw the first "new" episode, I had to switch off after a few minutes ... it was just ordinary archeology ... business as usual ... the mysteries of the past had lost their voice and soul!

Great episode, but sadly it is only a year and a half before Mick died June 24 2013. I really enjoy all the characters but I think I enjoyed Mick the most. Mick's last season with Time Team. Mick was very humble and though he would make no great contribution to Archeology...boy was he wrong there.

I LOVED this site, not only cause of the ditches they found, But OMG the beautiful Broach that Phil found. THAT must of made his career! And the smile on his face when he was the one to find it:-) Wondering if there is a way to ever go back to this site, and maybe exhume any burials or continue in digging the cemetery?

As much as I admire Time Team I thought the cremation re -enactment was in poor taste as I had witnessed a real one . Westerners are shielded from the seamier side of burials with curtains hiding the coffin entering the furnace. Take my word for it that when you know the dead person lying on top of the bonfire its a whole different ball game. The deceased in my case was the wife's younger sister a beautiful women in every respect. Next day sifting through the ashes and collecting pieces of bone to take to the Temple to be blessed . In my opinion Funeral Pyres bring a sense of loss and grief that usual cremations fail to do.

I don’t appreciate that Timeline has added these History Hits advertisements with Dan Snow to all their videos and I am considering canceling my subscription since I pay extra for Premium KZbin to avoid ads. I am not interested in Dan’s new channel and I consider his ads a waster of my time and am offended that they have gotten around the removal of ads to Premium subscribers by adding ads at the beginning of every video. Sure, I can and do fast-forward past Dan, but I don’t appreciate it and therefore every video, regardless of quality of content, will get a thumbs down from now on.
