My 40 year old boss turned me onto the Yamaha blasters, I didn’t know they were a thing until this year because I’ve never seen one but instantly bought one when I found out. Amazing little machine, rips just about any trails “unless they’re mud puddles lol”

Sick Blaster, I just put a 87 DT200L motor in my 06 SE Blaster that I rebuilt, ported, vf4, 35pwk, cfm airbox, with working ypvs, servitec cdi, dynoport pipe, with rm125 rads, it goes about 85mph, and pulls hard, the powervalve gives a shit load of bottom end, I have to fine tune it still but its to cold right now

Just bought two blasters a 2006 and a 99. Don't know squat about working on them I just used to ride a lot as a kid now I'm 50 and want to start riding again this looks like a great place to start

@@TimeMachinesATVs the 2006 I have big plans for I've already ordered I stretched swingarm and looking into plus 3 a arms for the front. The other one I have I'm going to keep it pretty close to stock it has Douglas wheels on it and ITP holeshot tires with FMF pipe and silencer. Going to keep that one for Woods riding the old 6 needs carburetor work I'll have to figure it out and hopefully don't make it worse LOL

Just got 89 blaster It was sitting since 07 just got it turned on after cleaning carb put 40:1 gas… I accidentally put the mixture oil you put in fuel into the engine I noticed after I put the bottle in so I took it all out and put correct oil (I’m new to all this) it runs fine though only problem is it revs up high on its own after I take it for a spin so I just turn it off any ideas??? It’s been sitting through rain and there’s rust but it runs now!! I’m a newbee sometimes you just gotta ask and stop being shy
