Not after all of the struggles to capture who and what we were required to. “You killed her.” My enemy’s voice is low and raspy; and I hear his sword being dragged along behind him, it was probably covered in a layer of crimson stained blood. My enemy cannot do this. They cannot try to defeat the villain. The villain is much too powerful. My enemy would be slaughtered, and paraded around signifying their victory and our loss. My enemy can’t do that. All of a sudden I feel my bones untighten and my muscles unfreeze. I can move again. Now all I can do is stand up. Show them that I am not dead. I am the face of the rebellion, and I will not die.

GODDAMN THIS IS BETTER THAN WHAT I CAN DO: 7:42 (for example): I stare into the hero’s eyes and then look around. There is fire in random spots, bodies of my loved ones on the ground and I think, ‘They’re all gone..’ I look back at the hero, who’s ready for a fight. The hero looks over, and they hold their hands out, standing and adjusting their position into one that shows they are strong, and they are willing to fight. I stand still, realizing that all of the bodies are people I loved. They were the ones that.. that supported me throughout my journey. Yet, the hero killed them. “All of them..” I mumbled, just as loud enough for the other to hear. They were taken aback at it, and they dropped their hands. “What?..” They looked confused. “They’re all.. they’re all gone. Because of you. YOU!” I yelled. I looked into their eyes directly, taking out my sword and already prepared to stab them and get my revenge. Just then, I realized.. ‘The hero.. Wait wait, if all of my loved ones are gone, why do I feel there is hope that some are alive?..’ I look over to the hero, who stands in a defensive position once again, looking confused. ‘Oh my god. They’re the only one I have left..’ I drop my sword. I refuse to believe that! There’s no possibility! I don’t love them, I despise them. So then.. why is the pain in my chest still aching? Aching, with longing and loneliness.. A reason to get revenge. There is no reason.. It’s the opposite.. I should be with the hero. I should be allies with them, I should be working with them, and if not, for them. Why, a villain, so desperate to prove something so irrelevant to the world? Absolutely desperate to make a point and to avenge my loved ones. There is no point. It’s all lies. Tears flood my eyes, the layer of tears flooding my eyes. They prick at them, ready to escape and drip down my face. I start crying, trying to wipe my tears, trying to hide the sign of weakness. The hero looks puzzled, but also paranoid. They don’t believe my emotions and that I’m just bluffing, trying to tear through their veins and get into their skin. I look at them, my eyes widened. “I have to go.” I rushed, quickly running and going down the stairs as the hero grabs their gun and aims it at me, shooting and missing every time before I manage to escape. This shouldn’t be happening. This shouldn’t be real.
