They always self adjust to fit pretty much ANYTHING you put in them. 12:10 That's one «perfect fit» that you don't want. You can't take the package out of the postal box. And, again at 16:15 . Unless that bowl of soup is going to sit where it is until used again, it will not be so neat. Even plastic wrap on the top would make it overflow. Otherwise, I'm glad to see other people enjoy kind of oddball things that I enjoy. Thought it was just me.

Turn the pot over and pour boiling water on the bottom. The plate will drop out.

Do that over some folded towels. If not, the plate may shatter when it drop out.
