2023 was the most depressing year in my lifetime on March 14th took to the worst when my father ended up taking his own life and later my great aunt passed on November 8th from cancer and it was more of a sorrow and grieving years and worst years of my lifetime. Hopefully 2024 will be more better.

I was there. And yes, that’s what I love about New Year’s Eve in Times Square. Everyone United together as one. I might’ve gone alone, but I was able to interact with others to feel like I wasn’t completely alone. We need to unite like that more often!

I love how everyone counts down the New Year across the globe. It’s one act of unity where everyone hopes for a better new year. 🥳 Edit ⬇️: -I have to say that yes, I am aware that timezones exist. I want to emphasize that I am talking about the act of counting down and/or celebrating the new year with anticipation. Obviously, no one celebrates it all at once and some people celebrate it when they wake up the next day or multiple times with each timezone countdown. So I ended up home alone this year on New Year’s but I sat with my bottle of Coca-Cola that I always crack open every year on New Year’s and I sat and timed this countdown for the new year in my time zone and counting down by myself and kissed my cat and I’m really glad that this video was uploaded so that I could do that. My boyfriend blocked me on New year's day 😭😢 I got blocked for being busy with things in life he's upset at me that I didn't say happy New years or Merry Christmas to him I don't go on Facebook that's what he's upset about as well. I thought 2023 just started. Few days after news year 2023 Jan 4th my close friend passed away at age of 31. His birthday is January 10th and I found out right on his birthday he passed away. January 12th I was at his funeral. Can't believe next mouth 2024 it'll be his one-year anniversary death the day he passed away. In February I cought covid-19 so yeah my 2023 started off miserable. I'm hoping 2024 New year's will be better year than last year. I pray my year will be a little peaceful better
