Shame on you for absolutely twisting his words. He said that he would be there on Friday. He was going to North Carolina first. California drains water into the Pacific that's why they did not have any to protect people in homes from fires. A lot of these people just had their homeowners insurance canceled because of new rules put in place by the California lawmakers and just lost absolutely everything and we're still owe money to the bank. He will probably make them do controlled Burns just like they do in other places that do not have crazy out of control fires. He said he would withhold money to the government, not to the people, until the government starts taking care of the people and making California safe for them. If Barack Obama was back in office and he told California that they had to do a controlled burn to say people's lives would that be okay with you? Does it really matter who says it if it's true? Instead of being so wrapped up in politics start thinking about what is going to be good for the people. Will it be good for them to have water? Will it be good for them to not have out of control fires? Would it be good not to have entire families running for their lives? I said that that is a good place to start and I don't care if Bart Simpson said it. Someone needs to make California safe for the people that live there and want to stay there. I hate to point out but everyone that can afford to is leaving. My sister cannot afford to leave but she does live upstate her house with almost caught on fire a couple of years ago and I just hope that somebody can make an effort so it does not happen if you don't like him and you hate his ideas so much then why didn't you come up with a better plan? This happens almost every year! I live on the other side of the country so I sat on my couch and watched in tears.. now I get to hear you people say that it is better to do nothing? Shame. On. You.
