Hours after the deadly attack on the Kerem Shalom border crossing, Hamas released a video. The attack video by Al Qassam Brigades shows scores of 'Rajum' rockets piercing through the Israeli sky. A Hamas rocket barrage hit Israeli troops stationed on the border near Kerem Shalom. The Israeli soldiers who were attacked were guarding the IDF's military equipment. These pieces of equipment were brought to the area for the IDF's planned offensive in Rafah. The attack was an alleged warning by Hamas against Israel's planned Rafah offensive. Well we know that over 15k of the bodies recovered were of women and children. This has been confirmed by not only the UN but the US too. That is a conservative estimate btw that is weeks old, the number is surely higher than that today. The IDF has destroyed schools, hospitals, mosques, churches , entire apartment blocks, bakeries, and just about any other civilian buildings totally to over 90k pieces of infrastructure or over 65% of buildings in gaza Despite this they are no closer to eliminating hamas or recovering the hostages than they were on October 7th. Support for Israel is at an all time low across the world, talks of arrest warrants being issued and even the US contemplating sanctions. In short the Gaza campaign has been an utter disaster for both sides.
