If the world and Israel and Egypt and Jordan really wanted, a Palestinian state would have been established a long time ago... The problem is that only some countries want such a country and usually these are distant countries that do not really influence... Whoever decides which countries are theirs will be a border with the Palestinian state, which means Israel, Egypt and Jordan... All three are strongly opposed to such a country... You will not see Egypt or Jordan fighting for the establishment of a Palestinian state...absolutely not...in private rooms they are against a Palestinian state even more than Israel... There will never be such a country.

It took this long...that is a shame but the fact these 'nations' are out of us/israeli grip is a good sign. Hope for the future, especially for the Arab world.
