TMC might have done many wrongs but the fact is WB ranks top in women empowerment. Largest number of women owned small businesses is in Bengal. Largest network of women run self help groups is in Bengal. Largest representation of women in parliament is in Bengal. All the top ministries such as finance, industrial, land etc of WB is governed by women. Mamta led TMC has changed the narrative of women representation. In Bengal, if a women and a man is fighting election and both of them are equally good. 90% probability is that the woman will win. I don't support many TMC's policy but TMC's women empowerment and women representation factor should be studied by other states and implemented correctly. We can learn something from every State. Rural banking and women empowerment should be learnt from Bengal.
