We have to calculate no of accident along with no of vehicle per year. Absoulte number of accident might have increased but % accident with respect no of vehicle is calculated then it gives different number.

Compare and contrast pathetic quality of Indian expressways with international standards like China, USA and Europe. Indian highway surface and marking become aged within few years. Let us not forget his abysmal performance in deaths and injuries from road traffic accidents. Furthermore, there is also lot of debt piling up by his department.
