And if you recall, the initial evidence came from the U.S. who also warned India to back off because they planned to do the same type of assassination on U.S. soil: because, India committed an act of war against NATO. USA didn't spared one of its closest ally (Saudi Arabia) in Jamal Khashoggi case by making all videos public and humiliating them, do you think they will spare India if they had such evidence? NATO is repeating same mistake again, they did during cold war era. India was neutral country then and India is neutral country now. Even that time they started supporting extremist groups and secessionist activities against India to build pressure on India, they are doing same now. The U.S. Security services notified Canada because we have multiple layers of nation defense agreements with them (5 Eyes; NORAD; NATO...). And America warned India when the evidence showed INDIA was going to do an assassination on U.S. soil and that case is in the U.S. courts. And if you watched this whole BS report, the McGill Professor tells people where they can see the evidence because our court records are not shield from the public. I'm aware of India's defense (which is falling behind China with whom you throw rocks at each other in the mountains - FYI, China has developed a tank to operate in those altitudes), and India made great strides to create its indigenous military production with it's 1st built carrier, tank, missile. You have multiple licence agreements to built jets in India. I'm also fully aware of the geopolitical soup you're in where beating your chest means little. You still have large pockets of populations in various States that want to separate - not just Punjab. And unlike India, Canada is not bombing its own people because of Pakistan, or throwing rocks at the Americans in the mountains. Canada has halted trade talks with India; Apple has cancelled deals in India; and if this evidence came to light before the U.S. - India cooperation announcement was made, that announcement wouldn't have happened. You seem to think an Act of War means going to war. It can mean economic and diplomatic isolation like what has happened to Russia who can't even beat Ukraine.
