As part of The Youth Parliament debate, in an excellent session on the topic 'The Political class of India has failed to meet the aspirations of India's youth', the youth representatives spoke as equals with the members of the establishment. Speaking 'For' the topic are Kiran Bedi, Social Activist & Retired IPS officer; Yogendra Singh Yadav, Social scientist & Political activist; Aashay Sahay, Delhi; and Aashwin Chhabria, Chennai. And, speaking 'Against' the topic are Sachin Pilot, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs; Harsimrat Kaur Badal, MP, Fawaz Shaheen, Aligarh; and Vipul Nanda, Bangalore. A good politician is not only about the ability to argue / debate against or for . . . A good politician is also about one who is connected with people / public by way of debate / social media / talk about and in a way that gets the attention of public. A health minister need not to be a doctor ( good if he is a doctor ) but then must have the passion and a strong common sense / emotional quotient to tackle the bureaucrats. India has many genius in its bureaucracy but they are not being properly handled by politicians. Politicians look for the kind of bureaucrats who can guide how to do corruption without being caught ( in the process the bad bureaucrats get attention and promotion where as . .you know that) The level of debate in parliament has gone to the lowest. Many politicians do not have knowledge so how they will debate.

Working at an mnc and I'd say that in no way in age of 2016 there is discrimination on base of being a dalit, not even gender, caste or even religion.. there are for sure some cases but that's because since 60 years education has not evolved in India and lacks to teach basic values and etiquettes, it has also not changed with the changing times.. education in fact has grown into a profitable business, and many and many people are unemployed because they have degrees but lack skills, and the ways, methods, equipments and institutions to continue to improve skills with changing times.. Crime, discrimination against women, children, caste, religion would eradicate not from building huge number of schools and colleges and making a row of unskilled graduates but with degrees in their hand, but from honing skills and developing values from the very foundation of our younger generation.

We need to have patience and intellect to be able to grasp what these guys are saying. The present situation is like.....people are frustrated and annoyed with their own life. I feel the present life of a common man is getting worse. I feel to improve the quality of debate, just improve the condition of the person who is listening to it. If the person who is listening to debate don't want arguments to be floated on the sea of knowledge rather want it to be sledged on the desert of dillusion and superstition, no wonder debates will get rotten and knowledge will vapourize.
