The role of an anchor/moderator is to ensure panellists answer to the point. It's no surprise Arnab has to interject as much as he does because most of the guests tend to digress, vituperate, or abuse. Why does Arnab bring people like Deputy Grand Mufti on his show who publicly state that Kashmir is not a part of India? This also hurts the sentiments of the people, so before advocating any kind of arrest, Arnab should be first arrested on same grounds if and all the government makes such a case. Journalists are free to interview anybody and carry out their assessment fairly, it is the government which is responsible for what people want. Have been watching Newshour debates since 2012, but slowly have been drifting away and loosing interest in it solely because of sheer ignorance and lack of basic professional ethics and manners of the anchor Arnab Gosami. Watching his debates has now a days become a headache, a few minutes into it and i feel like pulling my hair.
