Loving, serving and worshipping God should always start in the home. Church is for fellowshipping with other believers. If parents want to raise a godly child it starts at home. You cannot rely on today's church to raise your children to follow the Lord. They've become apostate.

@@ckb6752 I don't think that's what she means. Being a Pastor's wife, I have learned that people have church services ingrained in their culture, that the church is the place of worship. We've been introducing Small Home Groups for the past several years trying to prepare our people and change the thought process for what's coming. When the time comes that people may not have the "right" anymore to worship in a church, the home church will no longer be uncomfortable and they will have already experienced that the Holy Spirit can move in a small group of people within a home. This has been in my spirit for YEARS.

The Spirit of God moves upon the face of the waters a.k.a the people. Ask the Father to show you...He will if you ask Him. That is what the cross is for to allow us to ask the Father for understanding. It is difficult, but worth it to see God work.

In the book of Judges He reduced Gideons 's soldiers from 32000 to 300, He used Moses and Aaron to release the whole nation of Israel in Egypt. Is better to have 6 committed people to prayer than to have 60 people who will never commit to prayer.

Thank you for your words of truth. We must have our eyes on the Lord and not man. Our brothers and sisters in China face severe persecution for their faith and yet their numbers continue to grow. Churches are conducted in homes. The locations are not publicised but rather our brothers and sisters are led by the Holy Spirit to the exact home church. My husband and I have been christians for over 40 yrs. We are both in our early 60s. Everytime we have been in a church where prayer meetings were started, had 1 or 2 people attend. One church was a very large church, nobody came. People love intertainment, dinners, social events, but no prayer meetings.
