It might not be that people think they are lying when they say they think they need to be good or try to be good. Because everyone is programmed to try to be good. Then when people figure out they try their best and its not good enough they end up feeling shamed and unworthy then give up. Not everyone understands what the believer understands. Some have tried to come back but been rejected just like cain and saul.. thats what people think they tried but don't want to end up like them. Get confused because its a free gift and don't have to earn it. But in reality you have to fight and work at it to keep the faith. So it kinda is by works not by our own works but by his works. and his people are suppose to be a reflection of that. To most people on the outside looking in. It looks like people are just trying to be good and or trying to be perfect. And I know many Christians who are perfectionists. And then it becomes the blind leading the blind.

In a way tragedy and hard times was the best thing for me, I understand I couldn’t doing anything good myself, then I really understood the miracle the blessing the sacrifice that Jesus went thru for me and you and everyone to take but like the Bible says it’s a narrow road a very difficult road but your free and can only go on with Jesus Christ as our everything, thank God🙏🙏🙏🙌
