When you reach the point where that 5% of rolling a 20 actually makes your roll worse.

Just in case you don’t figure it out by the end of the episode (I’m commenting about 15 min in cause otherwise I’ll forget about it) the dice rolls only increase in price when you actually pick up the relic, not when you pick which path to go down, so you can wait a bit longer to buy rolls (if you want) it also pops up near the top of your screen whenever rolls increase in price. Anyways, great video, glad to see you getting a bit luckier. Edit: the refresh build was really cool, I’d been wondering how well that kind of build would work, glad to see you finally gave it a chance ;) though it seemed a lot more awkward and clunky than I expected lol.

(I mean this in the best way possible) this game reminds me of a certain mobile game I used to play. It was a puzzle perspective game. The gameplay is very different but the vibes are all there, I love it!

It does interact with the nat 20! If you watch the relic it shows when it discards less favorable rolls, and it will sometimes do that for a twenty, even at a max face roll. It plus sound blast got me pretty close in my first game.

Around 28:00 or smth, the end of that run... I have a feeling there was an integer overflow. That gave way less than it shouldve.

The best part is the 5% chance of a 20 was a horrible luck thing instead of great luck by the end due to how big the numbers got

@@TimeToGrinddid the math, thats around a 0.000357% chance to happen. rolling the same number 7 times in a row on a 6 face die, where all faces have different numbers has a 0.000357% chance to happen.

Dual boot doesn’t work on the Apple Silicon Macs, only the Intel Macs. I personally use Parallels (it’s not free but it’s worth the price) but the graphics on it are weird

If you’re trying to get all the faces the same, wouldn’t it be better to start with the lowest ones?

There are 2 reasons why upgrading low first is worse. Your 4th upgrade screws you if you upgrade low numbers first. Because you will have three 3s and have to upgrade one of them to a 4. So two 3s two 4s a 5 and a 6 on the dice. While if you first upgrade the 5 and then the 4 you will have three 6s and can upgrade your 3 to a 4 while still having three same sided dice. The second reason is the upgrades. If you get the spartan dice (which you probably want) It will increase the chance even more of rolling your maximum. If you upgrade low first it would hurt you to take that upgrade. While youd gladly take it while having more 6s to get a even higher chance of geting a 6. The bat and also likes higher rolls aswell. (Rolling a 7 or more just needs one epic dice upgrade (+1 to all sides) to make all your 6s into 7s)
