Michael Smith wanted to win like nobody I had ever seen that Top Fuel was all over the place and he maintained control and won the Race wow I would have loved to been there to see that live

True that. Iam impressed that the engine stayed together after that many pedals, and he got a good look at fans on both side of the track.

Weird they didn’t mention anything about why Jody Austin beat Paul Smith but Smith ended up advancing. Austin was running an alcohol motor which was way over the 500 ci limit, and Smith protested his win to IHRA.
