Thanks for posting this video. Really a great race, and glad to see All Hoffman win it. Such a great team too! Never heard Helen speak before. Didn't know she was an Aussie!

We can sure use another Steve Evans to help enrich the fun in this sport. But, like Force says at the end of this season: " I don't believe in miracles! "

And a couple of decades later .... 338 mph ! According to a top physics professor in CA., they "thought" 300 mph was unachievable during this period. He was wrong. Imagine if they were back on 1/4 mi tracks now. Would love that !

Something that jumps out at me, watching these older races, are the driver interviews. Huge difference from today ! Today, there is no sincerity, or real information or thoughts, just a spew of sponsors as they walk off.

The driver's of today learned it all from Force. Damn shame they didn't learn from Snake, Big Daddy, Beadle ect... ☹️

I didn't have a horse in this race (Snake had moved to TFD) but I was truly happy for Al Hoffman & his team. Always thought it was a shame that poor Al's little team was made into a rivalry with Force's corporate monster team by the media 🤨 Al didn't have a chance against Force & Coil, but he fought the good fight & unlike JF, never changed who he was, just a cool ol' drag-racer 💪😎👍
