It’s great that Timex is making some interesting watches. But the automatic is priced to high fir what you get. I paid $299 for a Zelos Swordfish which is an amazing watch for the money and at $349 still a way better deal than the automatic Timex.

If they could figure out how to get a mechanical movement in the original Q, they would have a winner. I don’t like the bigger size of the new one. Still, I like the direction they are going ! Keep it up Timex.

Imho: Q Falcon Eye looks so much better. M79 and Q are decent watches for their prices. Although I would not pay $179 for the Q. Edit: The Navi XL Automatic seems forgotten. I like it much more than these two.

The auto Navi XL's design is really cool, specifically the hour hand. Just noticed they recently came up with 2 new colors... sucks that I missed out on the green one.

Great looking watches for sure. Timex gets the design details so right here in a way big companies aren’t “supposed” to know how to do. Their bizarre misstep isn’t the cheap movements or questionable MSRP. It’s that these _marquee_ models aren’t in front of non watch nerds at retailers who nevertheless feature far worse designs under their glass displays.

Fun watches. I have the Q and really like it. To me the appeal of the watch was the retro look and just the pick up and go that the quartz gives you. I’m not interested in this automatic. Forget paying a premium, just wait.

I own 5 Qs and the batman M79. I really like them all. I don't mind paying for less specs than other brands, the fact that it says Timex is worth it for me. They deserve the respect with the heritage they have behind them, plus the vintage vibe looks so great. I now finding myself wearing two watches because I have a hard time deciding on which color Q I'm going to wear for the day. Timex "We don't stop"! Keep it up!

Timex design teams are killing it as is there marketing and restricting supply just enough for fomo. Now just improve the specs just a little and keep designing stuff like the case on the Georgio Galli and we will talk.

If the Q had the same exact dimensions as the 79, I would own one. I heard Timex is going to release another watch in the Fall. It's going to cause the same hysteria as the Q did. Have you heard anything about this Rob? Great review 👍

The M79 should have a better movement that hacks, and a proper depth rating. It looks like a diver, but isn't. This doesn't make any sense...

Used to follow this channel, but have since stopped. Just too unprofessional and lacklustre as a review channel. Miyota 8000 something movement? Bracelet is similar but I don't know? Don't know how many clicks the bezel has? And its across all his videos. If you want to review a watch at least bother to put in the effort to find out the details of the product.
