Hi, i got this jut now but the box is different and didnt get the small "red wing" leather inside, i bought this from timex store amazon, is it fake?

I know its a year later but I'm coming across the same issue. I'm assuming it's because he got the ZA version and we got the VQ version that does not come with it

I'm considering purchasing this watch, but I don't believe that Timex (a brand I love) has put forth their best effort here. Many of their field watches (Expedition Scout Chronograph, Allied LT Chronograph, etc...) are rated 100m water resistance. Why did they only build this as 50m water resistance? For this reason I am still on the fence.

I ended up selling this watch, so I don’t know what the long term wear looks like. That’s the thing over “Time” one’s opinion can greatly change upon wear and usage from when it did out of the box.
