As a Jamaican my family and I appreciate Nigerian music; whether gospel or secular. We can identify ourselves as Jamaicans/Africans; in Nigerian food, music, some of the languages, clothing, hair styles, tone of voices and articulation of some words, including, many phrases and songs are the same. Other cultural practices, are also very evident in Jamaican culture, like; how we scold/discipline our children. We have confirmed and can clearly identify that many Jamaicans origin are from Nigeria and Ghana. We can concur to these facts and we appreciate the very strong connection that we have to our people in the MOTHER LAND. Please listen to Paul Chisom song.....Baba Na You (the original version). When I listened to this song about 7-9 years ago I felt the connection to the Nigerian people as a Jamaican.

I was behind the cameras for a program and Dr.Tim Godfrey guy on Sunday somewhere n Dallas Chineke, energy tooooooooooooo! much my God!, after the event i approach for a picture lol boss said he wanna go join prayer lolz but when i look into his eyes, this guy gave all his strength on stage you can literally see he was tired, like bro went on stage and gave his whole being for a small concert oooo, I was like this one don sell his entirety for God.
