Tim, sometimes when playing the descending D and C chords I add the A note on the D string and the G note on the D string to fill out the chord a little more. As always, thank you for making another song accessible to those of us who need your help to learn how to properly play a song.

Thanks for this one! You seem to really enjoy a lot of the same music I do. I only recently discovered Jason Isbell and have been totally obsessed with his Southeastern album.

You do awesome lessons and especially with Jason Isbell songs. I was wondering if maybe you could give a lesson for Jason Isbells version of Desperados Waiting For A Train. It's incredible. I've tried to fiddle around with it. I know it's in DADGAD but can't quite figure it out. If you could do a lesson on it, that would be amazing!

I couldnt figure out why it sounded so terrible when I tried this. Turns out I realy have to block that 4th string like you said. I missed that. Huge difference, if not its a constant bass killing all descending chords. Thanks for uploading (Start at 01:45)
@TimGuitarLessons4 жыл бұрын
Yeah those particular string mutes are definitely necessary for this song

Have you ever thought about trying to do some John Moreland tutorials?
@TimGuitarLessons5 жыл бұрын
I used to listen to him a ton, but haven't listened much lately since he hasn't had a new album out in a while. I did a tutorial a while back for Sallisaw Blue, here's a link if you dont already know it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpXYk62Adr2hhqs

My third string is killing me on the verses it's soooo overpowering... Stupid piano fingers 😢
@jdstan96504 жыл бұрын
...way more difficult than your making it look. Slower pace would be nice.
@TimGuitarLessons4 жыл бұрын
It's always difficult to strike the perfect balance for everyone in terms of pace of the lesson... however, viewers needing a slower pace can always click on the settings cog wheel and lower the playback speed for as slow as a pace as you need. Hope this idea helps!
