Another lovely video for a cloudy Oregon Sunday! In March I switched from time blocking to using my weeklies for vertical to do lists and dividing work and personal like you did in this past week. I actually am liking it better as i can see all my to do's together and don't have to flip daily pages to find uncompleted tasks. Still using dailies for notes and more complex planning.

My time is about 45 minutes. Half hour in the morning to reflect on the previous day and plan for current, then I do little check-ins and journaling through the day. Always wish I doodled more!

It probably takes me about 20-45 minutes to journal. I like taking my time writing about my thoughts and creating a beautiful spread.

it's cool to see how long it takes you to get through all your different journals! now i'm curious how long it takes me, but I tend to watch youtube while I journal and often get very distracted.... out of curiosity (i am thinking of getting a nicer fountain pen soon, maybe), how long does it take your ink to dry on the hobonichi paper? i currently have a very cheap fountain pen and I keep accidentally smudging it because I forget to let it dry :( I'm not sure if that's because it's a thicker pen than I would prefer or because of the ink or because that's just how fountain pens work on the hobonichi paper? love your videos as always! thanks so much for sharing

Aww thank you so so much!!! I would say it takes about a good 15-20 seconds before I feel okay turning the page!
@stephc77237 ай бұрын
You should look into buying blotting sheets! You can soak up the extra ink right after writing and then no more smudges!
@youaremykiseki7 ай бұрын
@@TheCoffeeMonsterzCo aaa I haven't been on youtube in ages and came back to this haha thank you, that's super helpful! i actually got a twsbi eco in extra fine and ive been having SO much fun with it (and looking for any and all excuse to write more!) it's definitely a lot less smudgy than that super cheap pen i was using before, although sometimes it comes out thicker than I'd like it to. very excited to keep using it and maybe explore some other ink colors (i just got a cheap black ink for now!)
@youaremykiseki7 ай бұрын
@@stephc7723 thanks for the suggestion! i didn't know these existed until after i placed an order for a nicer fountain pen so i will have to wait until i buy another ink bottle or manage to find a store that specializes in these things near me
